Mrs. Steele

Mrs. Steele grew up in Cedar Rapids and is the oldest of three children.  She met her husband Casey while they were both in high school and got married in 2007.  Mrs. Steele has one son, Mickey, who was born in 2010 and is named after her favorite baseball player.  Mrs. Steele and her family enjoy playing outside, taking walks and watching their beloved New York Yankees.

Mrs. Steele graduated from Mount Mercy University in 2009 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and endorsements in Reading and Early Childhood (PreK-K).  She has worked as a reading specialist in the school district and is currently teaching 5th grade at Grant Wood.
